Israeli-Palestinian Congress of the People Held at Zoa House in Tel Aviv

Israelis and Palestinians will negotiate solutions to the conflict in the center of Tel Aviv.

Two Congresses will be held simultaneously. One for youth in the Salon Conference Hall at the ZOA House in Tel Aviv. One for adults in a large open space outside the ZOA House.

Each congress invites an Israeli delegation and a Palestinian delegation to negotiate solutions to the conflict. The negotiations are conducted in front of an audience which is invited to participate in the peacemaking process.

The event is an important step towards the establishment of a major Israeli-Palestinian Public Negotiating Congress with political power. The congress is designed to involve the people in the peacemaking efforts and motivate the leaderships to conclude agreements.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is considered to be one of the most entrenched conflicts in the world. We, at the Leon Charney Center for Conflict Resolution, believe that it is important to involve the young generation in the struggle to end the conflict.
