AMBASSADOR JAIME MUSSO | Italy and Germany, EMIS Alumni

Jaime was born in Sardinia from an Italian dad and a German mom and currently lives in Genoa, in Northern Italy.  He is the youngest ambassador of the center, having graduated early from EMIS in March, 2020 as a result of the Corona pandemic. After graduating from EMIS in May 2020, he decided to take a Gap year, having the desire to explore the world and gain experience outside the academic sphere. At the moment he is volunteering at EMIS’ boarding house and is the ‘CRC-EMIS relation coordinator’. Jaime is also passionate about photography, both as a way of self-expression and as a tool for conflict resolution. For instance, he is currently working with both EMIS and the Charney Center on ‘Humans of EMIS’, a documentary that aims at showing perspectives from an international community in a zone of conflict.

I am a curious and passionate guy, with particular interests in fields of diplomacy and international relations. In my future I see my self studying political science and economics, with a focus on international sustainable development. Last but not least, I enjoy expressing my self through the art of photography, an effective and fascinating tool for telling stories.” — Jamie Musso
