Students Overview by Lincoln Forges and Farantos Carras

Veterans of the Model United Nations entered the recent competition in New York with high expectations and left with those expectations exceeded. They were left with nothing to prove while exemplifying the FAU Leon Charney Diplomacy Program. The stress came from finding a middle ground that appealed to the whole world while representing nations with strained diplomatic ties within all of our committees. Such as the Security Council during a time where Ukrainian issues are at an all-time high. In the end, our delegates proved to be leaders by showcasing their training in public speaking and resolution writing.

This competition proved to the students and the professors alike that the skills used to help honor FAU, will be the same skills used to establish networks and encourage the chase for our careers that will continue to honor the Leon Charney Diplomacy Program.
