On October 18, 2018 the Charney Resolution Center and the Minds of Peace NGO (Non-Governmental Organizations) led the two parts of an Israeli-Palestinian Public Negotiating Congress made up of teenagers. A delegation of 25 Palestinian high-school students met a delegation of 25 Israeli high-school students in Tel-Aviv to discuss, debate, and negotiate solutions to their current situation.

Mediation class first cohort!
Ben Dvash, Hakfar Hayarok head of boarding school, Tzurit Yehuda, mediation facilitator, Michal Atzmon, CRC director, with the first cohort of our mediators!
For the past three months, a group of EMIS students met once a week with Tzurit Yehuda of Gevim Group, for an elective mediation course. On May 29, we all met for the last time this year, to evaluate and hear from the students what they took from this experience.

CRC in cooperation with The Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI) sponsored the Eagle Project. On May 23, 2018, EMIS 11th grad students traveled to the Hay-Bar Carmel to learn about the preservation of eagles in Israel and to place a GPS tracker, on one of them before setting him free.

On Sunday, 4/30/2018, at Tel Aviv's Talkhouse, 3 EMIS students, Julia from Haifa, Dana from East Jerusalem & Siseko from South Africa, gave the opening introduction for this event, one in the series of Have You Seen The Horizon Lately. Each shared their experience of how living and studying together, 170 students from 40 countries, provide them with tools to help them abandon the past and focus on the future.
Prof. Yoram Yuval – Psychiatrist and neurobiologist and Adv. Gilad Sher – Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), continue the evening discussing their view on the subject.

Congrats to Tzili Charney | Philanthrophy Award, Batsheva Gala
The annual Bat-Sheva gala is held to honor a Jewish woman that has embodied the organizations ideals of empowerment and leadership through her actions. This past year, Tzili Charney was awarded for her philanthropic efforts in teaching the next generation of peacemakers across the world through the Leon Charney Resolution Center.
Bat-Sheva is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to the empowerment and leadership of Jewish women. It was founded by Sarah Rotenstreich in the memory of Mrs. Batsheva Rotenstreich, who passed away in 2006 due to cancer.
