Congress of The People

April 3, 2020 Limei
Can ordinary Israelis and Palestinians succeed where politicians have failed by negotiating a solution for Middle East peace ? And will COVID 19 bring solida...

April 3rd, 2020 was the last day of the Australian TV team’s coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the lens of the Congress of the People (a collaboration between Mind of Peace and the Charney Resolution Center). EMIS Peace Talks Simulation, students around the table negotiating

Until I turned 28, my interactions with Israelis were only with the soldiers at the checkpoints in the West Bank. Growing up, I never had the chance to have a discussion with anyone from the Israeli side. My first positive interaction with the “other side” was when I came back home from studying abroad and did an internship at an Israeli startup in Tel-Aviv. During my time studying to get my MBA at Tel-Aviv University, I became aware of the Charney Resolution Center.
